The Risk Management Department supports teaching and learning through the protection of human and financial assets of the District. Services include proactive loss prevention programs, risk transfer mechanisms (including contract language assistance & insurance purchase) & oversight of workers? compensation and liability claims filed with the district.

The mission of the Risk Management Department of North Forest Independent School District is to work together with all employees and students to minimize and eliminate risk factors that may exist within the district. Because the Risk Management Department is a service entity, it is important that we work together as a unit to identify potential exposures/ hazards and develop solutions that are the most effective.

The goal of the Risk Management Department is to:

• Effectively collaborate with administration, faculty, staff and students in identifying sources of loss, 
• Assess the impact of losses,
• Implement risk management strategies and solutions to reduce work related injuries, 
• Monitor risk management solutions for effectiveness.
