The Special Education Department supports the mission of North Forest Independent School district by striving to provide instructional support that promotes a learning environment in which all students may develop to their fullest potential. We also strive to foster a sense of community among students, teachers, administrators, and parents that cultivate a sense of community and purpose that is strong enough to encourage all students to successfully complete their education.

The vision of the Special Education Department is to provide every student with a disability an abundant education that promotes success and empowerment. This vision will lead the Special Education Department in doing meaningful work for students, parents, and teachers, which encourages passion for others and lifelong learning.
