Houston Community College (HCC) offers dual credit courses to high school students in North Forest ISD. All North Forest High School students are eligible for dual credit courses, which allow them to simultaneously earn units toward their high school diploma and credits toward a certificate program or a two-year degree from HCC.

There is no limit to the number of students who can take part in the program or the number of credits North Forest students can earn. Dual credit courses provide high school students the chance to earn both high school credit as well as credit that will transfer to college.

North Forest High School provides a supportive environment with high expectations that allow students to attend high school and college at the same time.
