The North Forest ISD School Board approved the merger of Hilliard and Tidwell Elementary Schools as well as the merger of Forest Brook and Smiley High Schools on Saturday, March 15, 2008.  

As we move forward, two public/community forums will be held on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 7:00pm at Forest Brook High School and on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 7:00pm.  The forums will provide you with an opportunity to get any questions and/or concerns addressed.  Additionally, you will be able to make recommendations on the school name, colors and mascot.
