NFISD thrilled by 2008 TEA Academic Accountability Ratings Four of the District’s 11 campuses have earned “recognized” status. Five others rate “Academically Acceptable, and officials call the academic success a testament to the hard work NFISD staff and the commitment of its students.
Current Accredited-Probation Status During the 79th Texas Legislature, Third Called Session, 2006, House Bill 1 (HB 1) was passed, which amended the Texas Education Code (TEC), Chapter 39, Public School System Accountability.
